I have been dedicated to the field of dental hygiene and therapy since 2019, working within both the NHS and private practice settings.
My passion for this profession drives my commitment to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. I have extensive experience in performing a wide range of dental hygiene services, from routine scale and polish treatments to more advanced deep cleaning procedures.
In addition to my hygiene work, I have also developed skills in restorative dentistry, including the placement of fillings and the extraction of primary teeth, which I find particularly rewarding!
I was trained at Glasgow University from 2016-2019 studying Dental Hygiene and Therapy. During that time, I received comprehensive training in both preventive and restorative dental care.
The program covered essential skills such as performing detailed oral health assessments, scaling and polishing, deep cleaning, placing fillings, and extracting primary teeth. This training is crucial as it equips professionals with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to effectively prevent and treat oral diseases.
For patients, this means receiving high-quality care that not only addresses immediate dental concerns but also promotes long-term oral health.
As a dental hygienist, I take great satisfaction in building strong relationships with my patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health. I particularly enjoy performing thorough cleanings and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
It’s rewarding to see the positive impact that personalized care and preventive measures can have on a patient’s overall well-being.
Teeth whitening
Away from dentistry, I love to travel and explore new places. I also enjoy baking, especially creating cakes, which lets me indulge in my creative side. Watching thriller movies is one of my favourite ways to relax, as I enjoy the suspense and excitement they offer.
Spending quality time with friends and family is also important to me, whether it’s enjoying a meal together or simply catching up!
