The journey begins with a consultation with one of our Invisalign experts. They will carefully assess your teeth and, if you are suitable for treatment, create a tailored plan that maps out the progression of your new smile in stages.
A digital scan is then taken so that your bespoke aligners can be precision-made. When ready, these can be collected from the practice and we’ll show you how to use them effectively.
It is recommended to wear the aligners for up to 22 hours daily, with a change of aligner every one to two weeks under your dentist’s instruction. The series of aligners work together to slowly shift each tooth over time until they reach their final desired position.
Depending on the condition of your teeth, the treatment process can take as little as six months. You should start to notice an improvement within just a few weeks though.
