I have been working as a restorative dentist, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.

My experience spans over 17 years of which 13 years have been in private dentistry.

My qualifications include a Clinical Masters degree from the University of Sheffield in Restorative Dentistry, MFDS RCS from Royal College of Edinburgh and level 7 PG Certificates in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the esteemed Tipton Training Courses.

Training

I was trained initially in University of Sheffield in Restorative Dentistry where digital CAD/CAM dentistry was keenly researched.

I was later trained by the world renowned Dr. Tipton, who has also been nominated as one of the top 50 dentists in the UK since 2020. This training programme involved smile makeovers, full mouth rehabilitation, understanding occlusion and providing splint therapy for myogenic temporomandibular disorders which means, I am trained to treat complex cases of smile makeover and severely worn down dentition.

Knowledge and skills

I have now completely reshaped my procedures from conventional dentistry to digital dentistry which also involves complete digital work flow for smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations.

My knowledge and skills have enabled me to author research articles in journals such as “Journal of Dental Materials” and “European Journal of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry“, as well as, scientific articles for dental press.

I also have teaching experience of 4 years in Pakistan where I worked as a senior registrar for a few years and later on as an Associate Professor in the department of Restorative Dentistry Riphah International University.

I am a proud mother of a little girl and I love reading and painting in my free time.

I had my tooth removed, and they were both very professional and kind. I went yesterday for a check-up, and after discussing my options, I decided to have the extraction done today. Everything went smoothly, and they made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. Highly recommend them — great team and excellent service!

     Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ll be honest, I’d never really paid much attention to my teeth before. After finally getting my oral health back on track, I decided it was time to do something about how they looked. I wasn’t very happy with my smile, but Dr Balal Khan completely changed that.
He started me on Invisalign Go, which straightened everything out great. Once that was done, I went ahead with whitening, and I’ve just finished my composite bonding.
Honestly, the results are fantastic. My teeth look amazing, and I can’t believe the difference.
I never thought I’d actually be happy with my smile, but now I’m absolutely over the moon. Dr Balal Khan has completely transformed my confidence, I can’t thank him enough!

I can't recommend Dr. Balal Khan enough! He did composite bonding for me, and the results are amazing. The before and after photos speak for themselves! The level of detail he put into my treatment is unreal, my teeth look so natural and just perfect. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and it’s really boosted my confidence. If you’re thinking about getting composite bonding, I’d definitely recommend Dr. Khan. He’s professional, kind, and really knows what he’s doing!
