I have been working as a restorative dentist, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.

My experience spans over 17 years of which 13 years have been in private dentistry.

My qualifications include a Clinical Masters degree from the University of Sheffield in Restorative Dentistry, MFDS RCS from Royal College of Edinburgh and level 7 PG Certificates in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the esteemed Tipton Training Courses.

Training

I was trained initially in University of Sheffield in Restorative Dentistry where digital CAD/CAM dentistry was keenly researched.

I was later trained by the world renowned Dr. Tipton, who has also been nominated as one of the top 50 dentists in the UK since 2020. This training programme involved smile makeovers, full mouth rehabilitation, understanding occlusion and providing splint therapy for myogenic temporomandibular disorders which means, I am trained to treat complex cases of smile makeover and severely worn down dentition.

Knowledge and skills

I have now completely reshaped my procedures from conventional dentistry to digital dentistry which also involves complete digital work flow for smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations.

My knowledge and skills have enabled me to author research articles in journals such as “Journal of Dental Materials” and “European Journal of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry“, as well as, scientific articles for dental press.

I also have teaching experience of 4 years in Pakistan where I worked as a senior registrar for a few years and later on as an Associate Professor in the department of Restorative Dentistry Riphah International University.

Outside of work

I am a proud mother of a little girl and I love reading and painting in my free time.
